Public Art Project, City of Richmond
Site: MacLean Homes-Vanda, Keefer and Ash St, Richmond, BC
The purpose of this project was to incorporate a distinctive visual element within the streetscape design of a Richmond housing development. The artwork is comprised of three steel sculptures mounted on lamp posts and three educational signs which describe swallow species, their migration patterns and their nesting habits. The artwork draws attention to how the environment can be enhanced for songbirds. Design & Fabrication
